I searched the Port and Chora but nothing! Then I stubbled across this really cool hippy campsite … they also had no rooms (or space in their tents) but they did say I could stay and use their facilities and sleep anywhere I want …. there are hammocks, benches, deck chairs …. as long as I can stop the mozzies from biting!

Chora ( which is Greek for village) is such a gorgeous little traditional place full of little restaurants and street cafes. The island itself is only around 17k by 12k and the population very low. So far I have seen 3 beaches here but apparently there are around 6 or 7. This campsite sits virtually on one of them.

Tomorrow is going to be another challenge. My ferry leaves here at 10.30 pm and gets into Milos at 1.15 am …. lets see if I can find any accommodation …. seawhathappens
